Its approaching the Earth at great speed. This discovery has been made by an expert from the University of Zaragoza called Ciaran O’Hare and has been published recently in the magazine Physical Review.
According to the research carried on, the solar system is about to be engulfed by the remains of an ancient galaxy, devoured millions of years before by the Milky Way.
Now, according to O’Hare, the equivalent of more than ten million sun’s mass in the form of dark matter is dangerously approaching the Earth.
This dark matter must generate a kind of ring-like structure, and which can be easily detected. Experts believe that the storm that is coming will increase the possibilities to detect this dark matter, which means a great opportunity for scientists to unveil some mysteries about this kind of matter.
