Hunter Palmer, an 18-year-old student athlete heavily involved in sports, collapsed during track & field practice Wisner-Pilger High School on the 5th, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Midland coach Jeff Jamrog said in a statement:
Our staff really enjoyed recruiting Hunter. He was a dynamic young man who was an absolute pleasure to be around. Hunter was someone so special and will never be forgotten.
He wrote on Twitter
Hunter was recently recruited by Midland University to play running back in their football program.
