On Tuesday, a female paraprofessional at Matanzas High School in Jacksonville, Florida was beaten unconscious by a student who was angry because she confiscated the Nintendo Switch he was using during class.
Newly released surveillance footage captured the horrifying moment the student charged at the school employee and began assaulting her, continuing even after she was no longer conscious.
The 17-year-old assailant, described by law enforcement as a 6’6″, 270-pound Black teenage boy, is seen rushing toward the employee and throwing her to the ground. He then got over her and began brutally kicking and punching her at least 15 times in the back and head.
