Three and a half years after the January 6th Capitol protests, the FBI has just arrested retired NASCAR driver Tighe Scott — age 75 — and his son, Jarret Scott, age 48, on charges related to J6.
The father and son pair were arrested in Pennsylvania alongside two other men. Each face two felony charges, along with multiple misdemeanors, including allegedly obstructing and assaulting law enforcement.

Former NASCAR driver Tighe Scott and his son were arrested Wednesday on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attacks on the Capitol, the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.
Tighe Scott, 75, and Jarret Scott, 48, were arrested in Pennsylvania on two felony charges and a few misdemeanors each, according to the office. Tighe Scott was identified to agents as a former NASCAR driver by a witness, according to the charging documents.
The office said the felony charges for both men include obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder and assaulting, resisting, or impeding specific officers.
Tighe Scott, who was a race car driver in the 1970s and 1980s, allegedly struck riot shields and tried to rip a riot shield out of an officer’s hands while at the Capitol, the office said. The office also said Jarret Scott allegedly held a golf club while pushing and resisting against police shields…
