“Biden, who is destroying our Nation with insane policies of open Borders, corrupt Elections, disastrous energy policies, unconstitutional mandates, and devastating school closures, used my name today to try to further divide America,” Trump said.
Biden did not use Trump’s name in his morning address – and has throughout his presidency declined to do so, even when referring to the former president. Biden’s speech did, however, mark his most direct rebuke of his predecessor, saying that the former president “spread a web of lies” about the 2020 election.
