President Joe Biden just went around congress with his latest police reform executive order. His reasoning for the unilateral decision? Senate Republicans âstood in the way of progress.â

According to the White House, the âGeorge Floyd Justice in Policing Actâ was signed on Wednesday afternoon âto advance effective, accountable policing and strengthen public safety.â
Biden also says that this new executive order âwill increase accountability, ban chokeholds, restrict no-knock entries, and more for federal law enforcement officers â and it incentivizes state and local officers to do the same.â…
