As gas prices rise and the electricity supply falls short, a nuclear power plant is closed in Michigan
The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) issued a report that blackouts are almost inevitable across the nation this summer. This report was issued in light of our electric gridâs low generation capacity, and corresponded with the closure of the Palisades nuclear power plant in Michigan.
