Fauci claims he had ‘nothing to do with’ school closures

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who recently announced he would be leaving his government post as White House chief medical adviser, “claimed innocence on the fallout from school shutdowns, namely dramatic learning loss among K-12 students, in an interview that aired Sunday” writes National Review.

In an interview with ABC News, Dr. Anthony Fauci, White House chief medical adviser and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAD) had the audacity to say he had nothing to do with school shutdowns.

Fauci was the nation’s chief immunologist during the global Covid-19 pandemic and the man who millions of people listened to on a daily basis to get new and updated information on the status of the virus and its efficacy. It’s impossible to imagine how he could think he had no responsibility in any area of safety; particularly school closures…
