This is disgraceful!
While Congress and the Biden administration write blank checks for Ukraine, National Guard troops have their last paychecks before Christmas delayed.
Senate Republicans and Democrats earlier this week agreed on a $1.7 trillion spending bill that sends $45 billion to Ukraine.
It is anyone’s guess what happens to those taxpayer dollars.
“The package includes $858 billion in defense spending, a nearly 10 percent increase over the previous fiscal year, and $787 billion in nondefense spending, close to an 8 percent increase. It also would provide roughly $85 billion in supplemental funding for Ukraine and disaster relief,” according to Roll Call.
