(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The European Union confirmed that it will give $3.5 million to help fund George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, according to Věra Jourová, the vice president of the European Commission.
Despite Soros’s reputation as a radical left-winger, the EU has decided to jump into active cooperation with the Open Society Foundation, which will receive over $3.53 million in grants for two projects falling under the so-called “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme”, reported Breitbart.
Some of the supposed goals of these projects are to “raise awareness on rights and values through support to civil society organizations” and to promote “EU values” in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary — the countries that are not fully infected with the woke virus yet.
The two projects began in January of this year, with both lasting for a total of 36 months.
Some European politicians already criticized the recent decision.
