On the eve of the 3rd anniversary of Jan. 6th, Judicial Watch filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the federal government over the murder of Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force vet who was shot and killed inside the Capitol building by (now-former) Lt. Michael Byrd.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Babbitt’s family and seeks $30 million in damages.
It accuses the U.S. government of wrongful death, assault and battery, and various negligence issues.
