The idea that Karl Marx was a Satanist primarily originates from the works of Richard Wurmbrand, a Romanian Christian minister who wrote “Marx and Satan” in 1986. Wurmbrand’s book argues that Marx’s early writings and personal correspondence contain elements that suggest an affiliation with Satanism. Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned for his faith under the communist regime in Romania, aimed to expose what he perceived as the dark spiritual influences behind Marxist ideology.

Karl Marx is famously known for his revolutionary ideas aimed at fundamentally transforming society. Central to his vision was the concept of class struggle and the need for a radical upheaval of the existing social and economic order.
