Jury finds Menendez guilty on all charges in bribery case

A Manhattan jury found Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez guilty on all counts in his corruption case on Tuesday, including conspiracy to commit bribery and honest services wire fraud.

The senator, 70, pleaded not guilty and did not testify. He was charged with 16 felony counts including obstruction of justice, bribery, extortion, wire fraud and acting as a foreign agent.The case centered on allegations that the senator and his wife Nadine accepted bribes in exchange for acting to benefit the governments in Egypt and Qatar when he was the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
