ICE Arrests ANOTHER Suspected Sex Predator on Loose on Nantucket Island

Federal authorities have apprehended yet another illegal alien who was on the loose on Nantucket Island after being charged with nearly a dozen heinous sex crimes against children.

On Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the recent arrest of 49-year-old Elmer Sola, a citizen of El Salvador who is illegally present in the U.S.

Sola slipped into the U.S. at an unknown location and date, indicating he is one of countless ‘unknown gotaways’ lurking throughout the country.

“The Nantucket Superior Court arraigned Sola Aug. 14 on three counts of aggravated rape of child and eight counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14,” ICE explained in a press release.

For reasons that remain unclear, Sola has apparently been free to roam since he was charged.

Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) agents from the Boston office captured Sola on Nantucket on Sept. 10 and he remains in ICE custody.

“Elmer Sola unlawfully entered the United States, then made his way into our Nantucket community before allegedly committing some horrific and despicable crimes against a child,” ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons said in a statement.

Sola was at least the third illegal alien facing sex crimes charges apprehended on Nantucket Island by ICE during a two-day period this month.

On Sept. 10, ICE caught Bryan Daniel Aldana-Arevalo, a 28-year-old Salvadoran ‘gotaway’ who was charged with one count of rape of a child with a 10-year age difference and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14…
