Certain brands of frozen waffles sold at major retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Publix, were recalled due to listeria concerns.
“TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain frozen waffle products listed below due to the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes,” the FDA wrote.
The recalled products were distributed throughout the United States and Canada.
“More than 500 varieties of frozen waffles manufactured by TreeHouse Foods and sold under major store brands such as Walmart’s Great Value and Target’s Good & Gather have been recalled because they might be contaminated with listeria,” CBS News noted.

“There have been no confirmed reports of illness linked to the recalled products to date. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a healthcare provider. This issue was discovered through routine testing at the manufacturing facility,” the FDA stated…
