Earlier today, we reported that Nancy Pelosi had been hospitalized after suffering a serious injury during an overseas trip.
At the time, the exact details of what happened and what that injury was were not revealed.
Now, it turns out that Nancy Pelosi has fractured her hip from falling down a marble staircase in Luxembourg, Germany during a congressional delegation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.
Pelosi is currently receiving medical treatment in a local hospital there, and a spokesperson has said that she is still able to work, but not to attend any remaining engagements during her trip.
But, anyone who has ever witnessed a loved one fall and break their hip knows that this is not an easy recovery in old age.
