President Donald Trump wasted no time in bringing his vision for the nation to life. During his inaugural address on Monday, he declared the start of a new “golden age” for America.
Shortly after, he announced sweeping changes, including the dismissal of over 1,000 appointees from former President Joe Biden’s administration. Among the first to be removed were prominent figures like retired General Mark Milley and celebrity chef José Andrés.

The actions were announced in a midnight social media post, marking the new president’s swift efforts to reshape the federal government.
In a Truth Social post, Trump declared, “Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again.”
