Russian troops, continuing their advance toward the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region, have liberated the village of Zaporozhye in the DPR. The Defense Ministry reported this in its daily report.
Units of the “Center” group of troops, advancing near Pokrovsk towards the Dnipropetrovsk region, liberated the village of Zaporizhia. This settlement is located south of Pokrovsk between the Volchya and Solenaya rivers. It is less than seven kilometers from the village to the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region. There were no reports of battles for Zaporizhia earlier; in February, the village was mentioned in the context of the retreat there of Ukrainian formations driven out of neighboring Sribnoye. The inclusion of the village in the report indicates that the enemy has been pushed back further and is currently not in any danger.
