Police made multiple arrests at a town hall event that was hosted earlier this week by Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Yet despite facing chaos, the congresswoman was quick to make clear that she would not be deterred from doing her job.
Crowd of hostile demonstrators disrupted Greene’s speech
According to Breitbart, the event took place on Tuesday evening at the Acworth Community Center located in Acworth, Georgia.
Greene had intended to speak about constituent services but the lawmaker’s speech was disrupted by a loud group of hostile demonstrators.
“Well, welcome everyone,” Greene said as tensions inside the venue were escalating. “This is not a political rally. This is not a protest.”
