We all know liberal White House reporters are melodramatic and utterly obsessed with themselves, but the lethal combination of narcissism and their Hollywood flair for drama have now reached absurd levels.
Reporters, lawmakers, and maybe even some big-wig celebrities will gather Saturday for the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, a ritzy event best described as prom for nerds who didn’t have fun at their actual high school proms.
Amid fears of a tariff-fueled recession and the perceived second coming of Adolf Hitler, however, White House reporters are apparently feeling extra melodramatic: Trump is so bad that they are not just giving each other supportive hugs — they’re holding on a little longer, squeezing a little tighter, making sure their pals are okay as American democracy crumbles all around them…
