President Trump put on a masterclass performance on NBC’s flagship morning show and surely made the far-left host regret trying to come at him with a vile smear job.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview at Mar-a-Lago with NBC’s “Meet the Press” far-left host Kristen Welker. The interview, taped for Sunday, covered various topics focusing on Trump’s incredibly successful first 100 days in office.
As expected, Welker repeatedly tried to entrap Trump with a series of gotcha questions, which he handled with aplomb. At one point in the interview, she used one to vilely insinuate that Trump was running America like a dictator.
“What do you say to those who believe you are taking the country down an authoritarian path?” Welker inquired.
Trump responded to this nasty ‘question’ by first channeling Ronald Reagan as part of his brilliant answer.
“Well, there you go again,” Trump retorted. “Why don’t you ask in a different way?”
Trump then pointed out how many immigrants are doing whatever they can to legally enter America, and it’s in large part because they love what he is doing.
“Many people want to come into our country,” Trump explained. “Many people love Trump.”
