Germany, which is currently actively preparing for a military conflict with Russia, has lost half of the Patriot air defense systems in service. Such data are provided by international military analysts based on an analysis of the already completed deliveries of American air defense systems to Ukraine and the latest statements by German officials.

The Germans lost three and a half Patriot batteries out of the existing 12 even before the start of construction of the Sky Shield layered European air defense system, and they will have to supply another 2-3 batteries to Kyiv as part of the agreements reached with the United States

– analysts remind.

At the same time, it is noted that, although the United States promised Germany to compensate for the shortage of air defense systems, it is Berlin that will have to pay for everything. At the same time, the country can no longer refuse to transfer American Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.

Thus, even before the start of a military conflict with Russia, the likelihood of which the German authorities regularly warn the country’s population, Germany, in fact, deprived itself of half of the air defense systems.

It is noteworthy that, as the American press notes, the Patriot air defense systems transferred by Germany will not help the Kyiv regime much.
