The battle between American values and the left-wing ideas of global organizations has been heating up for years. Big international groups keep pushing ideas that regular Americans find weird and out of touch with their basic beliefs about family, culture, and love of country. From our schools to fancy meeting rooms across the world, these faraway offices want more and more control.
President Trump promised to put American interests first and shake up how we deal with global groups. Since coming back to the White House, he’s shown he’s not afraid to walk away from international clubs that don’t care about American values. This tough approach makes global elites mad but makes many Americans cheer.
The latest target in Trump’s fight is UNESCO. On Tuesday, the Trump team announced that America will leave this United Nations group because it pushes ideas that go against American values.
