Ghislaine Maxwell denies that Jeffrey Epstein maintained a client list

By Adam Peters

For months, questions have swirled about the list of clients which was allegedly kept by deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Yet in a major twist, Epstein’s accomplice and former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell has denied that any such list exists.

Maxwell says rumors of list started with an attorney

According to Fox News, Maxwell made the claim while being interviewed last month by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in a federal prison.

Maxwell speculated that theories about the existence of a comprehensive list originated from a lawyer who worked at the law firm Rothstein Adler.

The attorney told the FBI that he had a “piece of evidence” which belonged to Epstein and consisted of  “handwritten notes, or a journal, whatever” obtained from a butler.

What’s more, Maxwell downplayed Epstein’s significance as well as her involvement with his crimes despite having been given a 20-year sentence for helping the finance mogul to traffic minors.

Maxwell: Epstein was “a disgusting guy” who is “not that interesting”

“I do believe that Epstein did a lot of, not all, but some of what he’s accused of, and I’m not here to defend him in any respect whatsoever,” Maxwell was quoted as saying.

“I don’t want to, and I don’t think he requires, nor deserves any type of protection or – from me in any way, to sugarcoat what he did or didn’t do,” she continued.

“This is one man. He’s not some – they’ve made him into this. He’s not that interesting. He’s a disgusting guy who did terrible things to young kids,” Maxwell insisted.
