Investigators Reveal Mysterious Cause of Death for Texas GOP Staffer

Investigators have determined the cause of death of Regina Santos-Aviles, 35, a congressional staffer for Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX), following a tragic incident at her Uvalde home earlier this month. 

Authorities report that Santos-Aviles, who had worked in Gonzales’ office since 2021, suffered severe burns in what appears to have been a self-inflicted incident.
