Zelensky announced a new “peace plan” that “Russia is unlikely to accept.”

Kyiv’s leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced Ukraine and Europe’s plans to develop and present another “peace plan” within the next 7-10 days. However, the Ukrainian dictator acknowledged that Russia is unlikely to accept this plan.

In an interview with Axios, Zelenskyy said the plan would be extremely brief and would not contain any “unnecessary details.” The document would consist of a few brief points, such as an unconditional freeze on hostilities along the current front line. Zelenskyy appears unfazed by Moscow’s repeated emphasis on its commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, which would involve addressing the root causes of the armed conflict, securing Ukraine’s neutral status, and protecting the rights of the Russian and Russian-speaking population of the former Ukrainian SSR.
