We’re pausing our live coverage of the war in Ukraine.

Before we go, here’s a recap of the key developments over the last 24 hours.

  • Ukraine denied both reports, with its army chief Oleksandr Syrskyy saying: “We are holding Pokrovsk”;
  • The Pentagon gave the green light for Washington to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, according to a CNN report;
  • One person has been killed and at least 15 others injured in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv after a Russian attack;
  • Russia launched 223 drones at Ukraine overnight, the country’s air force said.
