His name was Wayne Broadhurst. He had been what the British call a ‘binman’ – our garbage man or city sanitation worker who handled everything from trash to your lawn clippings and tree limbs.
He routinely walked his dog a couple of times a day before and after work and was a regular, welcomed, pleasant sight in the quiet little neighborhood where he’d lived for years.
Everyone knew him and his family.
His name was Wayne Broadhurst.
SAY HIS NAME: Wayne Broadhurst.
A binman. A husband. A local lad who tried to help — murdered on his dog walk.
His alleged killer? A 22-year-old Afghan who came here illegally in a lorry, then granted leave to remain by our own government.

…No coverage on ITV. No candlelit vigils. No lectures from politicians about “the epidemic of violence.” Just silence.
Wayne deserved better. Britain deserves better.
And five days ago, he was slaughtered on his street while walking his puppers by an out-of-control Afghan illegal who stabbed him repeatedly with a knife..
