The Sun has hurled a massive cloud of charged plasma… a coronal mass ejection — straight at Earth’s magnetic shield. This wave of solar fire is expected to strike with enough force to trigger a rare G4-level geomagnetic storm — categorized as Severe by NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center.
Timing? Right around 9 PM Central — just in time for our nightly Caravan to Midnight broadcast.
As of this writing, storm conditions have already been reached and are expected to intensify into the night. Full bulletin from NOAA here:

At the same time, our engineers at Salem Broadcasting have advised that our satellite uplink (via Westwood One) is at high risk of severe interruption or complete failure due to these space‑weather conditions.
Therefore, with deep regret but in full responsibility, we will not go live tonight. Instead they will air a specially selected “best‑of” episode — provided the signal holds — You can pick that up on the stations or stream on talkstreamlive.com.
God willing, we’ll be back full-strength tomorrow night, live and unfiltered.
Until then — maybe look up, because the Northern Lights might put on a show for us all tonight.
Godspeed,
Brendi & John B. Wells
