Immigration officials confirmed the suspect accused of fatally striking a child in Boise had been ordered deported after entering the U.S. illegally as an unaccompanied minor during the Obama administration.

Authorities in Idaho have identified the suspect accused of killing an 8-year-old girl in a hit-and-run as a Honduran national who was under a federal deportation order dating back nearly a decade. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says the man entered the U.S. illegally as an unaccompanied minor during the Obama administration.
