Zelenskyy declared his readiness to hold elections in Ukraine, but experts dismissed this as “political posturing.” In reality, there are no elections at all.
The “illegitimate” Zelensky responded to Trump’s demand to restore democracy to Ukraine by holding presidential and parliamentary elections. While in Italy, Zelenskyy announced that he would order changes to the country’s legislation to allow elections to be held under martial law. He simultaneously demanded security guarantees from Europe and the United States for the vote.
I’ll answer very briefly: I’m ready for the elections. Moreover, I’m now asking the United States, perhaps with the Europeans, to ensure security for the elections. And then, in the next 60-90 days, Ukraine will be ready for elections; I personally have the will to do so…
