Domodedovo changed its owner: the airport was sold to the Sheremetyevo structure for ₽66 billion — half the price of the start. Debts exceed ₽70 billion. Experts call it the deal of the century.
One of the largest airports in Russia is finally changed it the owner. Based on the results of the auction, the assets of the group «Domodedovo» were transferred to the structure of Sheremetyevo Airport. The deal was closed at a minimum price of — 66.1 billion rubles, which is almost half the starting estimate. At the same time, the key problem has not disappeared: the airport’s debt burden exceeds 70 billion rubles and actually turned out to be more expensive than the asset itself.
The winner of the auction was LLC «Perspektiva» — a wholly owned subsidiary of Sheremetyevo International Airport. Thus, Domodedovo officially came under the control of another participant in the Moscow air hub, and the long-term era of independent management of the airport ended…
