The Trump administration released millions of pages of the Epstein files.
I wanted to address an aspect of what was released – tips into the F.B.I.’s National Threat Operations Center and tips sent to the office of the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. I’m seeing them being spread by the left on X as though they were “evidence” because they mention President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
Except, of course, as with anything that the left spreads about Trump, there’s a big catch they leave out. These are what one might kindly term “random nutter” contacts, meaning there’s no evidence to support any of the claims. That’s why I’m not going to post them. Even the NY Times is showing some sense for once, and they’re not even going there.
For example, one claim involved the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes in 1995-1996. Yet the golf course didn’t even exist then, which puts a small crimp in the claim. But that hasn’t stopped folks on the left from spreading it.
The left is also leaving out the debunking column in the DOJ-released summary that includes things like the reporting person had psychiatric issues, didn’t even bother to leave any contact information, or didn’t respond when contacted. Pretty tough to have a case then.
