The dueling Super Bowl halftime shows — one delivered by Puerto Rican rapper/”trap artist” (no, I don’t know what that means) Baddy Bunny at the actual game, and the other put on by Turning Point USA and headlined by Kid Rock — have caused social media to explode and endless commentary in the press.
Many on the Right noted that Bad Bunny’s show was in Spanish, and millions had no idea of what he was actually saying. He also slipped in loaded political commentary, and his original lyrics (not sung at the actual game) were basically pornographic.
Kid Rock has come under fire, too, with voices on the Left ripping his performance and accusing him of lip-syncing. To them, whom he called purveyors of “fake news” and “haters and trolls,” the singer/songwriter held up a certain finger in a video posted Tuesday.
