HPU Player Gives Jesus Christ Glory After Major Upset Win Over Wisconsin In NCAA Basketball Tournament

On Thursday, No. 12 seed High Point University defeated No. 5 Wisconsin in what is being called one of the biggest upsets in the NCAA college basketball tourney so far.

Wisconsin, which some sports analysts picked to run deep in the NCAA College Basketball Tournament, couldn’t hold its lead against High Point and lost in the last second of the game, 83-82.

Here were the final seconds.

However, after the game, High Point’s Chase Johnston did what many college basketball stars don’t do: give glory to Jesus Christ.

After getting the game-winning bucket, Johnston stated, “I just want to give all glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It’s been an unbelievable season.
