A top Iranian regime figure has been eliminated in a targeted airstrike, marking a major escalation in the growing conflict between Israel and Iran.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that Ali Mohammad Naini, the spokesperson and head of public relations for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed overnight.
The strike was carried out by the Israeli Air Force using intelligence gathered by Israeli officials.
According to the IDF, Naini played a central role in spreading the regime’s messaging and coordinating propaganda efforts tied to Iran’s military operations.
“Throughout the years, Naini served in several propaganda and public relations roles,” the IDF said.
