dailycaller.com Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of an illegal alien and alleged child rapist Tuesday, after he had been previously released by Fairfax County “sanctuary politicians.”
Walvin Victor Hugo Garcia, an illegal alien from Guatemala, was arrested by local authorities in June on felony charges of rape of a child less than 13 years of age, aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13 years of age, use of a computer to commit a sex offense with a minor, and distributing drugs to a minor, according to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
During his initial arrest, ICE lodged a detainer requesting that Fairfax County not release Garcia and instead notify ICE so officials could pick him up; however, the statement said the county refused to cooperate and instead released Garcia from custody.
Garcia, who first entered the country illegally through Texas in 2023 and was paroled into the interior by the Biden administration, was eventually delivered a final order of removal in February. He was arrested by ICE on Friday, the statement said.
