Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler (D-OR) of Portland has recently tweeted today that the city of Portland should prepare for violence from white supremacists. He says Oregon will be a “flashpoint” of violence. Below is one piece of his thread regarding election violence coming after the election.
Given the heightened concerns about potential violence, particularly from white supremist organizations and the divisive rhetoric from Washington, D.C., the need for coordination and partnership takes on statewide significance. Oregon is likely to be a flashpoint.

This statement comes as the city of Portland has been under siege with what appears to be violence from both ANTIFA and BLM for the last five months.
Trump supporters have recently received criticism for some rallies in which one car rammed into another on a highway, which some believe an anti-Trumper instigated it based on the video.
Michelle Malkin Tweeted out about the hypocrisy.
America Pravda: Violent left-wing riots are peaceful. Peaceful right-wing caravans and rallies are violent. https://t.co/b2daoEZVQi

The Mayor has refused to do much about the far-left violence dominating the streets every night. However, he feels the need for the state to prepare for “white supremacist” violence which has been very little in our view in the city.
Below is just one video of many showing the effects of ANTIFA on Portland.
Many on the right are upset about Democrats blaming them for business boarding up, as they see left-wing groups like BLM and ANTIFA burning down cities and looting stores in what the media is calling mostly peaceful protests.
There will most likely be no violence from the right after the election in our estimation, although businesses seem to be prepared for looting and burning across the country if the President is reelected.
