Here is what has happened since March 2020: the beast showed its face. Seemingly out of nowhere, these strange agencies and people for whom we never voted were ruling our lives. They restricted travel, forced us to cover our faces, closed our churches and schools, and forbid our businesses from operating unless they were big enough to afford a powerful lobbying arm in Washington. The whole scene was appalling. It caused many people—including some earnest judges—to take notice. Once you see the problem, you cannot unsee it. The Plandemic Must Continue: Joe refuses: As global energy demand rises, Biden’s White House prohibits new Atlantic and Pacific Ocean drilling.
As the globe seeks additional energy from sources other than Russia, the Middle East, and the OPEC oil cartel, US President Joe Biden has recommended a moratorium on all new drilling in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
According to Breitbart News, Biden is also pushing to ban oil and gas development and production on federal lands while recognizing the necessity of fossil fuels in the U.S. energy landscape.
Biden is off his rocker, way outside his jurisdiction, because federal lands is controlled by Congress only, no advice or consent of Biden required. The Property Clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article IV, Section 3, Clause 2, gives Congress authority over the lands, territories, or other property of the United States. This provision provides Congress broad authority over lands owned by the federal government.
As for blocking Atlantic and Pacific drilling, this is like the opposite of blanketing east coast with offshore wind farms.
Does federal government have the express power in the Constitution to blanket the East Coast with offshore wind farms, or blocking offshore drilling in the oceans?
If it does not but doing it anyway is usurpation of Bill of Rights Tenth Amendment which the framers included as a condition of signing on to a Constitution. The federal government has the duty to do the right thing and limit its acts delimited by the framers and notwithstanding its power to do a wrong thing by ignoring the framers. The Tenth Amendment is incorporated by reference into the Constitution by the Latin maxim expressio unius est exclusio alterius meaning powers expressed excludes all others not expressed and of like or unlike kind, same reserved to the people or the States. It also applies to the domestic terror bill, and wind farm, or offshore ocean drilling ban by federal executive orders, or legislation.
Come on States, commence or continue the offshore drilling.
