AI Is Set To Replace Multimillions Of Jobs According To New Surveys And Forecasts

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly beginning to phase-out so many jobs around the world people cannot keep up, and now many believe they will be replaced relatively soon.

A new Ipsos poll surveyed 22,186 adults in 31 countries, which found that 36% of respondents expect AI to either eliminate their job or take it from them. 57% are expecting AI to change their job in some facet.

67% of those questioned believe they generally understand what AI is; but 49% were unsure of which products and services are now utilizing it. Younger males seem to be the most knowledgeable, familiar, and aware of AI and how it affects the workspace.

Separately, last week the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), a leading global policy forum, says around 27% of jobs are at high risk of automation because of AI. This includes ‘low-to-middle skilled jobs are most at risk, including construction, farming, fishing, forestry and, to a lesser extent, production and transportation,’ OECD says...
