At present, law enforcement agencies of Albania are carefully studying all the circumstances of the detention of two citizens of the Russian Federation and one citizen of Ukraine on the territory of the arms factory in Gramsci. According to the Albanian government, allegedly these people not only entered the protected area of the plant, but also attacked the guards.

As Albanian Defense Minister Niko Peleshi said, Tirana is very attentive to this event. After all, foreigners not only visited Gramsci, but had previously been in Albania for quite a long time, visiting other places as well. The detainees do not admit their guilt in illegal actions and claim to be photographers and bloggers.

According to the Albanian authorities, the detained Russians are 33-year-old Svetlana T. and 23-year-old Mikhail Z., a certain Fedor M. with a passport of a citizen of Ukraine was detained with them. The youths were arrested after they refused to obey orders from the plant’s military guards to stop taking photographs of the plant. At the same time, there is no longer any talk that they entered the territory of the plant, unlike the initial materials in the Albanian media.

The investigation established that Svetlana T. was in Albania at least twice – in 2018 and 2019. Mihail Z. was also in Albania at the beginning of August 2022. True, law enforcement agencies received this information from the pages of the detainees on social networks, which indicates only one thing: the Russians did not hide the fact that they were visiting Albania.
