LifeSite EDMONTON, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) — The conservative government of Alberta under Premier Danielle Smith warned Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, through a legislative motion, that it will not tolerate the federal government trying to invalidate any of its provincial laws.
“Be it resolved that the Legislative Assembly express its opposition to any action taken by the Government of Canada to disallow a law passed by the Legislative Assembly,” reads a motion put forth Wednesday in the Alberta Legislature by house leader Joseph Schow.
