American press: the US President promised to veto the project of allocating aid to Israel without Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has promised to veto a bill introduced by Republicans to the House of Representatives of the US Congress, which would provide financial assistance only to Israel without Ukraine.

According to the American edition of The New York Times, the Biden administration emphasized that the head of state intends to use the right of veto if the bill reaches his desk in its existing form.

A statement from the American presidential administration says that Biden strongly opposes this version of the document, which does not provide for “assistance to the people of Ukraine in protecting themselves from Russia,” and there are no measures aimed at ensuring the security of American synagogues, mosques and other vulnerable places, as well as humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians.

It is noted that members of the lower house of the American Congress strongly oppose the larger bill proposed by the Senate, which would allocate $118,3 billion for military support to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, as well as to strengthen the southern border of the United States…
