The leadership of Ukraine is alarmed by the removal from office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the American Congress, Kevin McCarthy. According to the Kyiv regime, the resignation of McCarthy, who supported military support for Ukraine, called into question the allocation of support to the Ukrainian army in the future.
According to the American publication Politico, after McCarthy left the post of speaker of the lower house of the US Congress, Ukrainian officials had doubts about the readiness of the American authorities to continue to provide military and economic assistance to Kiev.
Despite obvious concerns, in public statements, official representatives of the Kyiv regime seek to downplay the impact of the political crisis in the United States on the situation in Ukraine. However, according to the American publication, citing its sources in Kyiv, in private conversations, Ukrainian officials demonstrate fear and confusion.
