Wow! The number of “former” democrats keeps rising, and the number of NEW Trump voters keeps growing by the day. More and more “former” LEADERS in the Democratic Party are jumping ship in favor of President Trump!
A top California democrat has RE-REGISTERED her party affiliation today, and has endorsed President Trump for President! Check out this video shared by Steve Hilton on X.com:

“…today, I say ‘Goodbye, Adios’. I’ve had enough.” Those are powerful words from someone who has considered herself a “champion” of the democratic party for most of her life.
The Washington Examiner has picked up the story as well:
Former California State Senate Democratic Majority Leader Gloria Romero announced her decision at a press conference hosted by Republican commentator Steve Hilton, who livestreamed it on his X account. She was joined by several leading Republican legislators.
“In this Capitol behind me, I served as both Senate Democratic Caucus chair and the Senate majority leader. But today I say goodbye. Adios! I’ve had enough,” she said.
Romero recalled her role as the Democratic convention delegate for the Rev. Jesse Jackson, then for former President Barack Obama at three separate conventions. She said her heroes growing up were Democratic titans Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Robert F. Kennedy.
According to Romero, the Republican party is clearly the “champion” of the working class — under the leadership of President Donald Trump. Once again we are seeing another lifelong democrat leave the party behind because it no longer stands for what it claims to stand for.
Romero stated emphatically during this morning’s press conference that she would indeed vote for President Trump, as reported by LA-based news site MyNewsLA.com :
“This is not the Democratic Party that I once championed. I do not recognize it anymore, and I cannot continue. I changed my voting registration today as the sun was rising to Republican, which has, under Donald Trump, become the champion of working people, the big tent. And indeed, I will vote for Donald Trump this fall.”
In what may be the most telling aspect of this continuing mutiny within the democratic party, Romero hammered home the policy points that were most pivotal in her decision to support President Trump, as reported from the Washington Examiner story referenced earlier…
