On Thursday morning, FBI staff operations specialist Marcus Allen testified in front of the House Select Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. In his testimony, the decorated FBI intelligence analyst revealed how the bureau retaliated against him after he raised concerns over Director Christopher Wray’s testimony to lawmakers about the investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol protests.
Allen served in the Marine Corps from 2000-2005, during which time he served two tours in Iraq. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, as well as the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
After joining the FBI, he quickly became a valuable asset and held a top-secret security clearance. However, despite his dedicated service to the United States and its security, Allen was suspended after questioning the integrity of the organization he was serving.
