The latest Western military aid packages to Ukraine are mostly equipment designed to be carried out in conjunction with tanks offensive operations. So, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will soon receive infantry fighting vehicles of American, German and French production.
Military commissar Dmitry Astrakhan briefly analyzed their armament and tactical and technical characteristics.
He notes that at the moment the German army has Marder infantry fighting vehicles equipped with Israeli Spike anti-tank systems, so the equipment in this configuration will not be handed over to Kyiv – they themselves need it. In addition, Israel so far categorically prohibits other countries from supplying Ukraine with weapons of its own production. Therefore, it can be assumed that German combat vehicles will be equipped with German-French-made Milan anti-tank systems before being sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
