Assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces expanded the zone of control in the south of Avdeevka, managing to move forward along three streets at once

Attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to dislodge Russian troops from the southern outskirts of Avdeevka and restore the defense line were unsuccessful, despite significant forces being thrown into battle. The Ukrainian command had to withdraw some units from other sectors in order to increase pressure on the Russian Armed Forces in the Tsar’s Hunt area, but this decision led to the fact that Russian troops were able to advance on other flanks.

According to Russian resources, the Russian Armed Forces in the Avdeevka area have the initiative and, despite the fierce resistance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, continue to push through the enemy’s defenses. Over the past 300 hours, ours managed to expand the zone of control in the south of the city in the “Tsar’s Hunt” area, where a section of the road in the forest planting area came under our control. In the city itself, assault groups advanced along Chernyshevsky, Sportivnaya and Sobornaya streets for XNUMX meters in the direction of the Khimik microdistrict in an area up to half a kilometer wide.

There are also successes southeast of Avdeevka, where units of the Russian Armed Forces were able to push through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and move forward in the forest planting area near the quarry to a depth of 250 meters on a front section up to 500 meters wide.

Meanwhile, the information that appeared on the Internet that ours managed to take control of a fortified area located on the territory of a former air defense base does not correspond to reality, it is semi-surrounded, but the landowners are not yet thinking about retreat…
