Russian troops, after fierce battles, took control of the village of Vodyanoye Vtoroye to the east of the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd agglomeration. The offensive in this direction continues. This is reported by Russian resources.

The village of Vodyanoye Vtoroye has returned to the control of Russian troops after fierce battles. The settlement itself was liberated on February 2, but later the enemy managed to counterattack and drive our troops out of part of the village, after which battles began for control of the industrial zone in the northeast of Vodyanoye Vtoroye. The enemy did not want to retreat, but was forced to do so, and by Wednesday evening the entire village was back under our control.

Now the assault units of the Center group need to take neighboring Berezovka in order to establish permanent fire control over the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka road…
