The Federalist
Even fully remote workers in the automobile industry are subject to a corporate vaccine mandate that threatens the livelihood of those who assert their right to medical freedom.
âA Lifetime of Freedom.â Those are the words on Jeepâs home page. âOur brand is built on the pillars of freedom.â The brand even claims it is âindelibly linked to freedom.â Freedom, freedom, freedom. Itâs even âindelibly linkedâ to virtually all of their Instagram posts in the form of a hashtag. Jeep is all about freedom. That is, unless you work for them.
The branding has become a slap in the face to Jeepâs non-union workers, even those who work remotely, whoâve been targeted by their parent companyâs vaccine ultimatum. Jeep is a subsidiary of Chrysler Fiat, which merged with Peugeot to form Stellantis this year.
